About ~V.

About ~V.I dwell in darkness, cloaked in shadow, stalking the night. I am temptation. I am seduction. I am all that you deny yourself, all that you desire. A siren from the deep luring you in with an irresistible song of tantalizing mystery. Allow me to consume you as only the darkest fire can. And when you have no more to give from the husk that remains of your being I will fill you anew. You are a wealth of endless longing and wanton desire, and I am the eternal fount from which you may drink.

Romantic prose aside, I am ~V. I spend my time observing, thinking, and writing. What lies deep within, and how does it play out in our lives? We are defined by our actions, but we are more than what others see.

There is a darkness within each of us. This darkness is not evil any more than light is good. Darkness is simply the unknown. It is the unknown that we fear, but to truly understand ourselves we must be willing to look into the unknown of ourselves.

Here I write of this exploration within the cloak of another kind of darkness so that you may glimpse these things. Perhaps some will spark a thought that will lead to some level of self discovery. But if such things are too fantastical and unacceptable for your conscious, I borrow from another great observer, thinker and writer:

If we shadows have offended,
Think but this, and all is mended,
That you have but slumber’d here
While these visions did appear.
And this weak and idle theme,
No more yielding but a dream,
Gentles, do not reprehend:
if you pardon, we will mend:
And, as I am an honest Puck,
If we have unearned luck
Now to ‘scape the serpent’s tongue,
We will make amends ere long;
Else the Puck a liar call;
So, good night unto you all.
Give me your hands, if we be friends,
And Robin shall restore amends.
